Vern Johnson

Mr. Johnson, a health care professional, has been variously involved in the industry for over 25 years, beginning his career as a nursing home social worker and is now currently a partner in several projects regionally, including two large local facilities in Mesa, Arizona.   He also owns a small assisted living center in Scottsdale AZ and he serves as CEO of Building Blocks Counseling.

Vern has been involved in many development and acquisition projects related to health care for 15 years, thru his consulting company in which he developed new health care programs and assisted troubled programs.  Working in a niche market in the areas of strategic planning, macro -marketing and market positioning.

Before this Vern worked with HCR Manor Care in a consulting role for seven years where he developed and implemented 17 Hospice and Home Care start ups. These new businesses in a new business model that was designed so that Hospice and Home Health programs met the needs of their skilled nursing facilities. Vern has his degree in Social Work with an emphasis in public administration.

He serves on several committees and has held various board positions for nonprofit organizations such as the National Hospice Organization, Arizona Health Care Association, 1N10 and Arizona Recovery Housing Association.

He has also owned several hospice programs around the country, and although he has since moved more into acquisitions and development, stays plugged into the industry.

Today Vern is involved in brokering projects and in development, especially in nursing facilities and assisted livings. He has worked directly in the Service Provision of Health Care in Hospice, Home Care, Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing Facility Business. James J. Wallin

Jim brings with him over 30 years of management experience in the construction industry. He was Vice President of Constriction for Empire Communities and Qualitas Constructors before going out on his own and establishing Wallin Builders. Jim is the CEO of Good Life Recovery Communities that he founded in 2011, since then he has opened recovery homes for men across the valley. Jim has over 22 years of recovery and continues to be active in service within the recovery community. Mr. Wallin is also a restauranteur in the valley and lives with his two daughters in the Phoenix area.

Nick Jones

Nick has been dedicated to recovery for many years. Being a Sober Home Owner in Tucson has become his life’s work, and moreover, his passion. He also gives of himself via volunteer visits to prisons and treatment centers to spread the message of recovery and help others.
